Tango de la Materia, No. 14

Waiting for dimethyltryptamine release

The bronze edges

Of Bronx rivers’ night

Erasing into ledges of

Contemplating accidental death

Like any other in even

Haloed summer violence

Allowing the silence to become

(Unfettered/unfiltered)

In just expression

Déjà vu oppressed

Rendezvous incorporate viscosity

Where thy imagination hath off to?

Fallen dull in the breakers’

White noise thy subjectivity

Having given eclipse to boredom

And o where thy monotony to rest?

And on what penitent in mortem?
